Getting Started at Rila Institute of Health Sciences in Four Steps
Thank you for choosing to register for one of our programmes.
Rila Institute of Health Sciences has been developing and delivering courses and publishing in medical specialisms for Healthcare Professionals (General Practitioners, Nurses, Secondary Care specialists, optometrists and orthopticians) in the UK since the mid 1990’s. Our mission is to improve the standards of primary care through providing access for general practitioners, and where appropriate, Nurse-specialists and other healthcare professionals, to high quality courses that integrate text-based learning of current research and evidence-based medicine with modern online interactive clinical activity delivered by consultants and other specialists in the field. In this way the standard of primary care can be improved, thereby taking some of the pressure off secondary services, and provide a better level of service to patients.
Rila has a long established collaboration with Plymouth University and The Postgraduate Certificate & Diploma in Medical Specialisms (various pathways) is offered as part of that collaboration. Plymouth University has extensive in professional education and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and is proud to be supporting Rila’s work in this field.
